Wilmington Fire District
Board of Commissioners
Regular Monthly Meeting
Community Center-7 p.m.
Present: Richard Moncsko, Guy Stephenson, Dan Hansen, Charlie Terry, Marcel Bruce, Louis Adragna, Steve Corvelli, and Shirley Lawrence.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read with motion to accept by Charlie Terry, seconded by Dan Hansen and carried unanimously. Treasurer’s report was read with motion to accept by Richard Moncsko, seconded by Richard Charlie Terry, carried unanimously.
Discussion was held on insurance proposals. Motion presented by Richard Moncsko to continue coverage with CFA., seconded by Charlie Terry and carried unanimously.
Fire Chief Louis Adragna informed the board that attendance on calls had improved since his discussion on the ski program.
Louis informed the board that Kevin Santo had taken a BLS instructor course without prior approval at a cost of $92.50.
There was some discussion on a basic EMT course at Clinton Community College.
Louis would like to be able to run air to the rescue truck and put ceiling fans in the roof area to take care of the moisture. The department will take care of running the air. Louis was asked to get two quotes on the fans.
Bills were reviewed and audited for payment in the amount of $4,970.65.
Meeting adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
