David Brookman resigned as driver of the senior bus.

The position of senior bus driver was advertised and the town received 3 applications.
Robert Feitshans, Brian Keating and Gary Hoffman

The Board will hire Brian Keating 1158 Springfield Rd. Wilmington, N.Y. as senior bus driver.

Robert Kirby is running for the Essex County Sheriff Position and has to resign his Wilmington
Justice position. Supervisor Preston will check with Town Justices from adjoining Towns to see
if one would be available to be appointed to fill in the vacancy this would create.

The installation of the sidewalks on Springfield Road is underway and it was decided that the Highway
men would continue ripping and pouring the sidewalks an additional 300 feet to Stewart Morgans residence.
at the cost of $1,300 more.

Lisa Negal is updating Waterfront & Zoning Regulations (with part of the Grant money)

Board discussed putting a sign ordinance in place and the need for public opinion.

It was decided that building lots which are half the required size or more cannot be refused from the
pre-existing code of 1988, if it meets the set backs and septic requirements.

Town Board discussed giving new businesses a tax incentive to entice new development to locate in the Town
of Wilmington. Board thought this was a good idea.

RESOLUTION 40-09 BOARD APPROVED MAY 13 AND MAY 27 MINUTES.

Kirk Bassarab is checking house to house as to what the status is on their water meter.
Kirk and Ed Orsi will start next week updating and installing water meters.

Town Beach will open on June 27, 2009

Tom Hinman stepped down from Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals

RESOLUTION- 41-09 TO APPOINT ALICIA ARMSTRONG AS CHAIRPERSON OF THE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS.

Motion – Rarilee Conway Seconded – Steve Corvelli All in Favor

Town Justices received a 100 % grant. They were able to replace 3 doors, new carpet and furniture.

Beautification Project- Town Board thanked the Highway men for a “job well done” putting in the sidewalk
at the Library and the stone wall at the Visitors Bureau.

Water used for month of May- Whiteface Mt. used 90,000 gallons and the Town of Wilmington used
132,000 daily.

The Smart Growth Grant for the new Community Center Bldg. Bob Hockert said that the M.R.B. Group
From Albany/Rochester area was hired to see what we have to date.
