SUPERVISORS REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 1/5/2024  Greetings! This is my first report to you as Town Supervisor. It has been a good first week and I thank everyone for the kind welcome I received.  Well, to business.  January's Calendar  The first town board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th at 7 p.m. There will be a public hearing on the additional Veteran's exemption proposal made in December. This week we start out with a general notice that if you have children or know of children in town that might be lacking for gifts this Christmas, please know that we have some great presents available at the Town Offices. Hello Friends! Our 16th Annual Wilmington Christmas Celebration is now in the books. What an amazing time that was held by both the young and the young at heart.  The fireworks were indeed spectacular and the gift parade with Santa was so much fun! Thank you to all that contributed to the yearly community event. Special thanks to all of the town employees that always rise to the occasion of going above and beyond. As taken from their notice on the sale, Haselton Lumber Company has been a fixture in the Adirondacks for the past 123 years. That statement is so accurate. In fact, I would go a little further, Haselton Lumber has been an important part of Wilmington's growth and history for the same time period. SUPERVISOR REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 11/10/2023  Hello Wilmington! I start off this week's report thanking all the candidates that ran for office this past week. Congratulations to those that were successful in their political pursuits. I look forward to a smooth transition of my office to the Supervisor Elect.  Our towns Parks Department will soon be placing Holiday Decorations up around our community for the season.
