SUPERVISORS REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 7-21-2023  I start off my report announcing that I have appointed Town Council member Tina Terry Preston as my Deputy Supervisor. According to New York State Town Law, The role of Deputy Supervisor is an appointment at the total discretion of the Town Supervisor. The deputy runs meetings or signs checks in the absence of the supervisor. I have total confidence in Tina and thank her for once again "stepping- up" for her community.  Just a reminder that this weekend is Ironman. SUPERVISOR'S REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 7/14/2023  Hello Wilmington! I hope everyone is surviving all this weird weather we have been experiencing lately. Like many areas, Essex County was under a "State Of Emergency" due to the most recent storm. Fortunately for our community, we did not have that much water damage or soil erosion at this point. Of course we continue to monitor areas of concern and remain diligent.  Congratulations and Good Luck to the Wilmington Summer Youth Program as they started their first day of programs this week. SUPERVISORS REPORT FOR WEEK ENDING 7-7-2023 Greetings! I hope everyone had an awesome Independence Day and all the celebrations that go with it. For my family, we attended the Jay Celebration & Parade. The parade was a reminder of life in our area and the hometown spirit we all enjoy. Speaking of “Hometown Spirit” plans are now underway to have a community parade to kick off the popular Wilmington Get Together that will be held August 19 th .
